Pest Control in Richmond and Central Virginia

PO Box 1565 Mechanicsvile, VA

HISTORY

Unlike many pest control companies, EUI was not started by a former employee of a large company.  In fact, in 1982 when Craig Duncan started out, he had never worked full time for any pest control company.  A relative in Norfolk, VA had offered a few part-time assignments fumigating grain ships and other odd jobs.  It was enough to pique Craig’s interest, and a new career was born.  Armed with little more than some basic training, a sprayer, and the desire to learn the trade and grow a business, Craig Duncan began Exterminating Unlimited Inc. in Mechanicsville, Virginia. With the help of his new bride, Beth, and industry suppliers, Craig began to develop a customer base and become educated in pest management.

From day one, the driving force behind EUI has always been honesty and quality service.  Having been raised with Christian principals, Craig and Beth frequently pondered the phrase “do unto others as you would have done to you” as they began building their customer base, literally one customer at a time.  After 27 years of marriage and working together, Craig and Beth still lead the team at EUI.

What this means to you:

  • Locally owned company by locally grown kids
  • Stability – EUI has been here while many start-up companies have failed or sold out
  • We know things – like seasonal pest fluctuations, local construction, how to find our way across town
  • You have access to the owners, who still care about our clients

COMMITMENT TO TRAINING

There are not enough words to express our pride and appreciation for our technicians!  Our hard-working, knowledgeable and committed service professionals are among the finest in central Virginia.  When a new technician is hired with no prior pest control experience, we invest weeks of hands-on, in-the-field training, in addition to classroom training. As the seasons change, there will be different pests and training required. We pair every new technician with a seasoned technician who can guide them through the learning process.  When joining our team, even experienced service professionals ride with our certified applicators for a minimum of two weeks to acclimate to EUI’s standards of excellence, equipment and paperwork.
