Unsurpassed Honesty and Quality

About Us | Exterminating Unlimited, Inc. Termite and Pest Control

HISTORY

EUI at MaymontUnlike many pest control companies, EUI was not started by a former employee of a large company. In fact, in 1982 when Craig Duncan started out, he had never worked full time for any pest control company. A relative in Norfolk, VA had offered a few part-time assignments fumigating grain ships and other odd jobs. It was enough to pique Craig’s interest, and a new career was born. Armed with little more than some basic training, a sprayer, and the desire to learn the trade and grow a business, Craig Duncan began Exterminating Unlimited Inc. in Mechanicsville, Virginia. With the help of his new bride, Beth, and industry suppliers, Craig began to develop a customer base and become educated in pest management. Exterminating Unlimited, Inc. now serves the communities of Richmond VA, Mechanicsville, Ashland, Midlothian, Henrico and more.

From day one, the driving force behind EUI has always been honesty and quality service. Having been raised with Christian principals, Craig and Beth frequently pondered the phrase “do unto others as you would have done to you” as they began building their customer base, literally one customer at a time. After 32 years of marriage and working together, Craig and Beth still lead the team at EUI.

What this means to you:

  • Locally owned company by locally grown kids
  • Stability – EUI has been here while many start-up companies have failed or sold out
  • We know things – like seasonal pest fluctuations, local construction, how to find our way across town
  • You have access to the owners, who still care about our clients

ASSOCIATE CERTIFIED ENTOMOLOGIST ON STAFF

The Entomological Society of America (ESA) introduced the Associate Certified Entomologist certification in 2004. The qualifications to take the exam include a minimum of 7 years of pest management experience, the ability to pass a challenging test, maintain continuing education and membership in the ESA, as well as a willingness to adhere to the ACE Code of Ethics. EUI is one of only a few companies in the Richmond area to have an A.C.E. on staff. David Price successfully passed the exam in 2008 and maintains his certification.
